A DAY ON THE BOARDWALK, A NIGHT AT THE STRIP SHOW
Jonny Porkpie’s burlesque tribute to the Marx Brothers and Coney Island was one of the big hits of Marxfest 2024, and now it’s back for three nights, Friday 5/23, Saturday 5/24, and Sunday 5/25.
FILM SCREENING: THE COCOANUTS IN 3D
The NYC debut of the new 3D version of The Cocoanuts (1929), courtesy of Eyepop 3D. Anaglyph 3D glasses will be provided. The film will be introduced by Noah Diamond on Saturday 5/24 and by Trav S.D. on Sunday 5/25.
THE MARX BROTHERS VS. THE MAN
A panel and symposium exploring the Marx Brothers as anti-establishment figures, featuring Trav S.D., Kathy Biehl, Steve Jaffee, Jennifer Miller, and Noah Diamond. Saturday 5/24.
